How to get prepared for the Parliament ?
Know the Rhine and its Inhabitants!
Each delegation must ask parents, friends, close and distant neighbours, children, adults, grand-parents etc. on their vision of the Rhine. To do this, a questionnaire is available, that they can submit to all the people they talk to. A minimum of 50 questionnaires must be filled out by each delegation, in order to obtain statistical results.
Each of them must present, at the opening of the Parliamentary sessions, the results of these surveys in answer to these questions: What ties exist between the Rhine's population and their river? Are there any differences between the regions represented?
An Interregional evening! Bring anything that for you evokes the Rhine basin: food and drink of course, but also dances, music, costumes etc. Each delegation must imagine how they can bring "a piece of their Rhine" to this event!
Throughout the preparation process all participants will be consulted on the programme and themes, and will be able to communicate with the organising team before the Parliament begins: this is a friendly and participatory project!!
